Just a little background on the site, along with odds and ends and various ramblings. You never know what you may find on this page!    Did You Know? I started this website after I became completely and absolutely wrapped around Konrad, a character Norbert played in one episode of the short-lived television series The Agency. I quickly became a fan of all of his work. This is just a very small way of showing appreciation for his talent. Out of all of his characters, Konrad continues to hold that special place in my heart -- I must admit that I have quite  a "thing" for that character. Don't ask me why -- I'm not sure I can explain it.   Ramblings and info about the site, acknowledgements,                                other random thoughts  -- I should just retitle this page Thank You Mr. Weisser. It seems I have no end of thanks and gratitude to offer him for his continued support of this website. The most recent benefits from his support has allowed for an expanded presentation on the film Seeds of Tragedy and The Killers Within -- neither one of which are available on DVD. Special thanks to Mr. Weisser for contributing several images for the Theater section of this website, the most recent being some stills from his new play The Arsonists, not to mention a very special treat of some “behind the scenes” and other shots of the cast and set. And, it just keeps getting better and better -- thanks to his ongoing generosity, I now have a full presentation of The Arsonists online, complete with dozens of screencaps and a more complete synopsis. You all know how I feel about Norbert, but I must also do a special call out to John Achorn who played Joe Schmitt -- he was utterly fabulous!!!  Norbert and John were both nominated for awards for thier roles, along with several other cast members and Director Ron Sossi. There is a completely redesigned and expanded theater section, with more to come soon. Norbert has graciously allowed me to share the photos from his professional site with you on this site, and I will be adding stills from a documentary made for Coyote Cycle that includes part of a daytime dress rehearsal. Also,be sure to check out all of the new screencaps from never-before-seen features -- Keeping Secrets, Inseln Unter Dem Wind, Under Cover, After MASH  and more!  These can be found throughout the Television and Movies section. The Incident is now available on Amazon as well as TCM.com. It is also available as a rental from Netflix. If this movie is of interest to you, please take some time to read two very well written books on the subject: Guests Behind the Barbed Wire, by Ruth Beaumont Cook, and another by the man who is probably the foremost authority or historian on the subject, Arnold Krammer, who authored Nazi POWs in America. This is also available as a fascinating documentary on DVD from the History Channel.  Additionally, Brent Berry, who had a small role in the film, sent along several photos for me to use on this site and the new website dedicated to that movie, The Incident Movie. Thanks, Brent -- you and Norbert make all of this possible!  This website, which also includes an extensive section on German POWs in America, will be entered into the 45th Annual Worldfest Houston International FIlm Festival later this year.
